Sunday, 27 September, at the Teatro Manzoni in Milan, BOUDOIR took centre stage: the GO Coppola Real Time event dedicated to the Autumn/Winter 2026/27 season.
A particularly significant moment for the brand, which this year celebrates an important milestone: 20 years of GO Coppola. Twenty years of research, creativity, education and experimentation that have contributed to building a distinctive identity in the world of hairstyling.
It is within this context that BOUDOIR was born. The name evokes an intimate and personal space, a place where dreams, desires and secrets are kept. From this imagery comes a collection that brings the woman’s inner world to the surface, transforming it into shape, material, texture and movement.
MAURO SITURA: THE CUT AND THE TORNADO TECHNIQUE
Mauro Situra interpreted the world of cutting through the Tornado technique, developed in three different interpretations, working with layers, volume and deconstructed lengths to enhance movement and bring lightness to the shapes.
The result is a language built around dynamic proportions and more fluid structures, where technique becomes a tool for expressing character and individuality.
MELANIA SEVERGNINI: COLOUR AS LIGHT
Colour was entrusted to Melania Severgnini, who interpreted the season through natural lightening effects, with a delicate sun-kissed finish.
The aim was to create light and depth while maintaining a harmonious, natural result, complementing the shapes of the cuts with soft, personalised highlights. These effects were created using the new Shatush Comb, a versatile tool designed by Roberto Farruggia, conceived to create different colour effects, from softer nuances to more defined effects at the roots, inspired by contouring.
ROBERTO FARRUGGIA: A FREE AND SPONTANEOUS UPDO
Completing the story, Roberto Farruggia interpreted styling through an updo characterised by braids that gradually come undone, irregular textures, loose strands and a wild frisé effect.
A spontaneous and natural result, far removed from overly constructed shapes, where imperfection itself becomes an integral part of the aesthetic.
BOUDOIR: A COLLECTIVE STORY
Cut, colour and styling become three expressions of the same idea of beauty, shaped through contrasts, movement and personality.
This is the direction that inspired BOUDOIR, the GO Coppola Real Time event for the Autumn/Winter 2026/27 season, bringing to the stage of Teatro Manzoni a story that combines technique and creativity, elegance and a rebellious spirit.
An even more special occasion as it celebrated 20 years of GO Coppola through technique, education, research and continuous evolution.
