The dream was to create a space for beauty and wellbeing with a unique and innovative design representing the passion, art and professionalism that defines the past and present of the Aldo Coppola brand.
The creative idea of Aldo Coppola Jr. took shape through the intuition of architect Anton Kobrinetz and became the Aldo Coppola Kingdom of Beauty.
“It’s the Island of Beauty that has never been seen before,” said Aldo Coppola Jr. about the 1000 square meter space with white Carrara marble and thirteen store windows just a short distance from the Milan Duomo.
Imposing white is joined by splashes of Aldo Coppola red in the interior décor created by Marcel Wanders-Gamma&Bross and illuminated by the artistic lighting by lighting designer Enzo Catellani. Historic images from the Aldo Coppola-L’Oreal calendars photographed by Fabrizio Ferri and Oliviero Toscani have been recreated in artistic mosaics by Trend.
The imposing glass façade on Corso Europa opens the doors to this enchanting kingdom. Entering this white cloud, you are enthralled by the beauty of Madalina Ghenea posing for the Aldo Coppola campaign: the six-meter LED wall projects exclusive images and draws your attention to the reception area of the salon at the entrance with its 135 meter long gel-coated display unit colored with a range of exclusive products by Aldo Coppola, Shatush, L’Oréal Professionnel, Shu Uemura, Kérastase and Redken.
Essie nail lacquers create unique chromatic effects that blend perfectly with Valmont green and Shani white.
The precise design by Marcel Wanders-Gamma&Bross can be seen on the ground floor and first floor area set aside for the Junior Suites.
These spaces offer a new concept of hospitality where the customer will appreciate the extra space and mirrored surfaces that endlessly reflect her image.
This is not just a place for haircare: downstairs is a reception area exclusively dedicated to beauty treatments. Besides Valmont and Shani face and body care products, you’ll find the essences of Il Profumo, Maria Candida Gentile and La Maison de la Vanille and By Terry and Lancôme makeup.
Here, too, the display area is full of color: the red leather Nail Bar and white marble tables introduce the Nails Express concept, the first of its kind in an Aldo Coppola salon.
Two glass walls with images enclose the area dedicated to beauty and reflexology with feet massage chairs.
To the left of the reception area is the Suites and Presidential Suites zone: this innovative formula consists of six circular cabins designed to evoke the distinctive Aldo Coppola brand.
This maximum expression of design is a place where haircare, face and body care come triumphantly together: besides the Nabucco work station, the Cocooning bed makes it possible to simultaneously receive face, body and hair treatments, enjoying a unique four-hand massage and the benefits of the Hair Therapy skin care service.
To eliminate stress, a sauna and sensorial shower are available in a relaxation area created by Carmenta.
The Presidential Suites are the high points of the kingdom of beauty: these two incredibly private luxury areas ensure privacy, luxury, and personalized service. Surrounded by artistic mosaics, the customer enters an exclusive space with two Nabucco work stations, a Cocooning bed, a private shower and sauna, a dressing room, and a bar.
The one-of-a-kind Island of Beauty is a unique place where the customer is pampered by a team of professionals who pay attention to every tiny detail and offer a personalized beauty treatment for a relaxing experience in absolute privacy. All this is accompanied by an assortment of superb products and international brands.
The Aldo Coppola Kingdom of Beauty is all this and more: with its mosaics and soft lighting, this entrepreneurial development project challenges the current economic situation and aims to focus once again on Italian excellence, investing in a unique concept of design and technical-artistic innovation.
The development plan, which has hired 50 employees, offers hope to everyone who has lost faith in the Italian market, creating a place where anyone would want to work due to its uniqueness, professionalism, and career opportunities.
This futuristic location completely revolutionizes the beauty salon concept, creating a business format that can also be replicated abroad, exporting advanced design and professionalism.
Seeing such an important project come to life is inevitably a stimulus for new ideas that generates a refreshing wave of optimism in the Aldo Coppola Group and in the entire Italian entrepreneurial sector.
