A JOURNEY THROUGH THE INFINITE CIRCLES OF THE SOUL
The Mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol that represents the universe. Not just a form of art, mandalas are used in many spiritual traditions, especially in Hinduism and Buddhism, to focus attention, to define a sacred space and to help meditation.
Mandalas are often drawn with coloured sand and represent our power to acquire knowledge and wisdom, to contrast negativity, anger and violence. Today the word Mandala is well known also in western countries and become of common use to indicate geometric patterns and circular designs that symbolically represent a microcosm of the universe, used in various areas to rediscover calm, balance, peace and increase self-awareness.
